This was my last wedding of 2017 and boy was it stunning! I know Gracie from uni and I was delighted when her and Paul asked me to photograph their wedding. The Highfield House is a relatively new wedding venue set in the beautiful Countryside of Driffield. I was actually in awe of the building as I drove up (after I got over the shock of driving through thick fog and remnants of  snow.) as it was like something out of a fairytale; the walls adorned with ornate chandeliers and creatures (not real). So many enchanting objects – and you know I love detail.

Gracie and Paul absolutely radiated happiness like no other, surrounded by their closest friends and family the ceremony was simple and beautiful. The bridesmaids wore the most stunning black dress that I now want. The mother of the bride speech probably has to be one of the best i’ve ever heard including a little handwritten poem that brought the whole house to tears. Also I have to mention the food; Thai style delights followed by a trio of pork (beyond perfect) and finished with the most incredible smoking dessert! (There’s a picture below)

I could go on and on but take a look yourself, here is a little preview of their day.
