TWENTY EIGHTEEN | BEST WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
Wow. I can’t even begin to describe how grateful I am for all of you that have put your trust in my work this year and led me all over the world. 2018 has been a pivotal year for me in life and work. I lost people I loved, I’ve grown a baby boy and I have photographed over 40 incredible couples throughout the UK and Europe.
As an artist I have grown, I’ve put my heart and soul into each and every wedding and elopement I captured. You guys have given me the creative freedom and trust so that I could create works of art for you and I feel so blessed that is actually my job! It’s been a year where I’ve really been able to hone in on what it is that makes my heart race! For me the art of wedding photography is all about capturing the connections between you, the raw emotions and small moments that sometimes go unnoticed. It’s this that reflects you as a couple and this is what I love.
The start of this year took me to Paris twice and I began a life-long love affair with this romantic City, especially after seeing it at sunrise. I sipped hot chocolate (possibly the best ever!) in Le Deux Magots and ate pancakes in The Holy Belly just before splashing in the water outside the Louvre with a beautiful couple! I’ve spent most of the year in walking boots, climbing up mountains in Scotland, The Lake District and even Norway. Capturing Elopements in the most treacherous weather – which just made it all the more beautiful! I’ve watched the sunset with countless amounts of couples just after we soaked in the glorious golden light. I then finished wedding season by heading to Santorini to make the very last of the summer, capturing two people read their vows on top of a rooftop.
Finally, one of my biggest photography achievements was realised near the end of 2018. Junebug Weddings proclaimed me as one of their World’s Best Wedding Photographers 2018! How AMAZING!
So here you have it, out of the thousands, or rather tens of thousands of images taken this year, I have put together a little highlights of 2018. For those of you who are planning a wedding or elopement and feel a connection to my work, I’d love to hear from you! I’m currently bookings for 2019 and 2020!
