Hello, I’m Becy
I’m the artist behind Elope With Belle, creating intimate elopement experiences for couples who want to get married quietly, intentionally, and their own way.
With over a decade of experience photographing elopements and six years creating all-inclusive elopement experiences on the Isle of Skye. Expanding Elope With Belle to the Cairngorms National Park felt like a natural evolution — a way to offer the same calm, intentional approach in a landscape that invites stillness and connection.
My work is rooted in emotion, connection, and atmosphere. I photograph and film in a gentle, unobtrusive way, allowing space for real moments to unfold while guiding you calmly through the day.

From the very beginning, I fully plan your Cairngorms elopement and shape it around who you are and how you want your day to feel.
Your experience includes fine art photography and romantic Super 8 film. I guide you through every step with full elopement planning and personal support. I create a personalised itinerary and elopement-day timeline so everything unfolds calmly and without pressure.
You stay in luxury accommodation for two at Hidden Highland Retreats. I arrange a celebrant for your intimate ceremony. On the day, we will venture around the estate, with access to carefully chosen ceremony and portrait locations within the Rothiemurchus Estate.
Your elopement also includes dried bridal florals or buttonholes. I arrange a romantic wedding cake and champagne picnic. You enjoy a celebratory dining experience that showcases beautiful Highland produce. If needed, I also organise two witnesses for your ceremony.
After your elopement, I deliver a private online gallery of your beautifully edited images. I also create your finished Super 8 film for you to keep forever.
Everything is taken care of with care, calm, and heart. This allows you to be fully present and enjoy a truly magical elopement in the Cairngorms, in the heart of the Scottish Highlands.

Most couples tell me they’re “not comfortable in front of the camera” — and that’s absolutely fine. You don’t need to perform or pose. Simply be yourselves.

Sample Cairngorms Elopement Itinerary.
Your day is as unique as your love story, each elopement I plan is bespoke and crafted from your ideas, dreams and my expert guidance! I want to give you an image of how your day might look…
7am – Wake up in your cosy cottage, the last of the embers still burning in the fire. Coffee first whilst you take in the sunrise over the loch.
8am – Your hair and makeup artist arrives to pamper you
10am – I arrive to capture the quiet morning moments, the vow writing, all the beautiful details and the final moments of getting ready
10:30am – Once ready, you meet for the first time fully dressed in front if the still loch – a moment to yourselves.
11am – In the landrover we drive deep into the mossy forest and you make your vows and hand-fast whilst the light beams through the trees.
12pm – You are married! Take the time to soak it in, walk to the foot of the loch and take portraits in front of the castle ruins,
1:30pm – A cosy champagne and wedding cake picnic back in your cottage to warm up and toast to you! Just the two of you
2:30pm – Back in the Landrover to take us to a higher point overlooking the mountains for portraits
3:30pm – Enjoy the rest of your afternoon just the two of you, go for a sauna and dip in the loch or take a horse ride through the forest, or just play a board game in front of the fire!

Yes. I absolutely welcome LGBTQIA+ couples and proudly support love in all its forms. Elope With Belle is an inclusive and affirming space, and I create elopement experiences where you can feel completely at ease being yourselves.
Your elopement includes four hours of combined photography and Super 8 film coverage. This usually covers preparations, your ceremony, and relaxed portraits, without the day feeling rushed. You can also add on extra hours or day after photo sessions in the proposal when you enquire.
Depending on your ceremony, two witnesses may be required. If so, I can arrange this for you as part of your experience.
You will stay for four nights in a luxury one bedroom cottage at Hidden Highland Retreats.
You will receive a small preview just 2 days after your elopement. Your full private online gallery and finished digital Super 8 film are delivered within 8 weeks!
Yes, you can. Scotland welcomes couples from all over the world. You will need to apply for a visa from your home country before giving your marriage notice in Scotland. I guide you through the process including timelines and paperwork, so everything feels simple and manageable from afar.
To begin, fill out the enquiry form on my contact page. I will then send you a detailed proposal with pricing and available options. You will also have the option to book a call if you would like to talk things through.
To secure your date, you book with a £3,000 deposit. Booking is confirmed once the deposit is paid, the contract is signed, and you complete the booking questionnaire.
I use your questionnaire to begin planning your elopement. Within four weeks, you will receive your personalised itinerary proposal, along with a welcome box to help you start imagining your time in the Cairngorms!
From there, I guide you through every step, right up to your elopement day.
Whilst this elopement package has been created for true elopements, it can be modified for up to 4 guests staying within the same cottage! Perfect if you’d like to bring your own witnesses! Let me know on your enquiry form.
Yes! All the cottages are dog friendly and your pups are welcome at your elopement!
The closest town is Aviemore which has a train station. I would recommend hiring a car for your trip due to the rural location of the cottages. This would give you flexibility to explore the area! Edinburgh Airport is approximately 2 hours drive away.
