The Elope With Belle Full Information guide will land in your inbox as well as a detailed questionnaire to find out all of your ideas and dreams for your elopement.
Once your deposit is paid, your exclusive magazine and welcome gifts start rolling in and it’s time to get very excited!
Then comes your proposal itinerary! It’s time to sit down with a glass of wine over Zoom and begin the count down until your elopement!
Your celebrant, accommodation, meal, flowers, logistics, photography and film is all taken care of.
Full legal advice is given so you don’t have to worry about a thing…except maybe what to wear!
We will even provide your witnesses!

• WHY CHOOSE ELOPE WITH BELLE?
1. Do you believe that your elopement day is just as valuable as a bigger wedding day and you deserve to have the most special day of your life?

3. Do you want none of the planning stress and worries about locations, light and tourists etc. but want the best elopement experience that the Isle of Skye can offer?

• IS THERE ANYTHING YOU CAN'T DO?
There are a couple of things that only you can do in order to be legally married! But you will have help with this!
1. You will need to arrange your marriage schedule. You’ll need to apply to Portree registry office for your marriage schedule. Most councils charge about £80 for the marriage schedule and you need to give 29 days notice. If you are from outside of the UK, you will also need to apply for a marriage visa.
2. You will need to become a member of the Humanist Society Scotland – their wonderful celebrants cannot marry you unless you are one. It’s really easy to sign up through their website. Membership fee is £85. It's worth it though, Humanist ceremonies are the best, most personal ceremonies!!
• OK, WE ARE SOLD. WE LOVE SKYE BUT NOT SURE ABOUT HIKING?
Then you really don't have to! A Skye adventure elopement doesn't necessarily mean hiking! There are plenty of beautiful secluded spots, just a short distance away from the car!
But if you are someone who dreams of hiking for your elopement, there are so many ways to make it happen in your wedding attire! You can embrace the wild Skye weather and wear your favourite hiking boots. Or you can pack up your clothes and you can get changed just before you say your vows!
• WHAT HAPPENS IF IT'S RAINING?
Honestly? Embrace it! You don't come to Skye expecting warm climates and golden sunshine! It's the dramatic clouds that make this place so beautiful! Some of the most incredible elopements I have captured have been in heavy rain. What a story it makes! This doesn't mean you have to get wet though, there are plenty of ways around it. There are also some pretty epic forests in Skye to shelter from the rain for portraits!
• CAN WE HAVE GUESTS?
Yes! Some couples choose to have their very closest family member or friends with them and that is absolutely up to you! Whilst the Elope With Belle package is designed for true elopements with just the 2 of you, I am more than happy to recommend nearby accommodation and ways to include your family in your special day!

Myself and my husband booked an elopement package with Becy, we had a beautiful 4 day weekend in the Isle of Skye, and we were married in the Fairy Glen (stunning place.)
Everything was perfectly setup and organised by Becy, she made our weekend magical, listened to every little detail that we gave her, and even dragged my butt up mountains whilst heavily pregnant! (Becy was Pregnant not me...)
Could not think of anyone better to have organised our stay, wedding/humanist celebrant, ceremony, cake, flowers, video, photography, wedding reception/dinner, special non-alcoholic drink for my husband (who doesn't drink), you name it... she sorted it.
The photos and videos that we were sent after were absolutely incredible, I'd recommend going for the full elopement package inclusive of the dinner, best meal we've ever had.

Our elopement with Belle Art Photography was quite literally perfect! Everything from the breathtaking locations across the beautiful Isle of Skye and the luxury accommodation and meal that was arranged for us down to the tiny details like the selection of vegan cheeses and champagne that were waiting for us on arrival was magical and personal.

We both knew a big wedding wasn’t for us and we love the Isle of Skye for many reasons. So, looking to see if eloping there was possible, we came across Becy’s page on instagram and we are so glad we did!
Everything for us was so stress free! Within a few emails, Becy knew where we were coming from and what we wanted from our day. From the locations chosen to the timeline of the day.
The day itself was absolutely beautiful, and we so lucky with the weather, considering it was the beginning of December! From our outdoor ceremony near the old Sligachan bridge, preformed by the one and only Rona. (Also highly recommended!). To pictures up the Old Man of Storr. Well worth the 45 minute hike in a wedding dress. You can’t beat pictures in the snow.
Anyone who is on the fence or worried about family please consider eloping as we did. Family and friends end up understanding and you are not worrying all day about other people’s feelings. It is your day!!!
I would absolutely recommend Becy to anyone wanting to elope. The day felt 100% ours and we were worry free all day. You can tell from the start of your journey that she is very experienced and has many contacts for everything such as the perfect accommodation, hair and makeup and flowers.
