A Beautiful Norway Elopement
The Norway Elopement started a little something like this.
Sat on the edge of the deck outside a beautiful apartment, the beautiful Norwegian Fjords in the background I thought, wow. This is my job. I’m so glad I took the risk a couple of years ago to go full time and launch Belle Art Photography, named after my 6 month old daughter at the time. The adventures I have been on, people I have met and learned from are so amazing and I feel so blessed to keep going on this journey! This trip I brought my family along, I hate to be away from them for so long and they are so important to the Belle Art Photography story. It means I can combine the things I love the most; my family, my photography and travel!
Photographing elopements are my new favourite, I love the intimacy of them and the sense of adventure! It feels somewhat rebellious and fun, its like I get to be part of a big secret and that is so exciting!
Radu and Kinga are so in love. That much is obvious. We explored, laughed and drove high up the mountains above Aurland. We hiked to the broad shoulder of the mountain where the views stop you in your tracks. They are breathtaking. I mean really my photos don’t do it justice. I am dying to explore more of beautiful Norway and Scandinavia!
What I want to capture in my work is the love, the emotion and the intimacy. I want my photos to create a feeling and evoke a kind of nostalgia. I see them as a work of art which I make collaboratively with each couple I meet. Let me into your plans, I’d love to get to know you and be a part of your day!
Big Thanks to my good friend Nicola Dixon and Anni Graham who without them this wouldn’t of been possible!
