She started Belle Art Photography nearly 10 years ago, after working in a restaurant and searching for a way to let her creativity flow. Now based in the Scottish Highlands on the Isle of Skye, Becy lives there with her husband and their three children — Belle, Eli, and Aria — along with their Golden Labrador, Orla. After many commutes to the island, her family moved to Skye at the beginning of 2020, choosing a life where adventure always feels possible and the landscape is a constant source of inspiration.

Becy studied Fine Art and specialised in photography and filmmaking, living and studying in Germany for over a year. She has worked with Super 8 and 16mm film for over a decade, receiving multiple awards and creating independent films, and she continues to create nostalgic, emotive motion pieces alongside her photography. Photography is not only her profession but one of her greatest passions; she describes having an “in built light meter” and an obsession with beautiful cameras, including Leica and Hasselblad, which she chooses for their resolution, depth and softness.
