I’ve always LOVED The Asylum Chapel in Peckham, London and so this incredible venue led us to our industrial elegance idea. This styled shoot was born after I contacted two of my favourite suppliers in the wedding industry, Charlotte from Redamancy Wedding Design and Amy from Amy George Makeup. We literally squealed with excitement as we poured over ideas. The light inside the Asylum Chapel is so brilliant as it comes through the stain glass windows and seeps onto the alter, what a stunning venue to get married in! The lighting was absolutely perfect to show Amy George’s glowing makeup with a hint of purple and Zoe from Knot your average Bride, created the beautiful intricate hair with violet petals to match! Charlotte and Shelena from Bloaum studio designed the most romantic alter and table display which I was completely in awe of – Also the fabric hanging sign by Willow Beau, I think every bride NEEDs one.

I then fell head over heels in love with the Black Edit collection by Half Penny London. I think black is starting to become the new white for weddings, it would if I had my way anyway. Paired with violet tones (violet is IN this year brides) and two BEAUTIFUL models, this styled shoot is just full of dark romantic inspiration for brides wanting something a little unusual.

I love doing these styled shoots because they enable your own visions to completely come to life. (It’s great practice for my own wedding 😉 ) I get to work alongside the most incredible creatives the UK has to offer. I also met and worked alongside two wonderful photographers, Ellie and Christin, who came all the way from Ireland! And we finished with a beer, whats not to like?
